Leslie Santapaul

After “painting with plants,” for more than 20 years as a landscape designer, Leslie began exploring watercolor and acrylic techniques, developing an affinity for Yupo paper (made from archival plastic.)
Water and fire references populate many of her works; also morphing botanical and landscape forms, seldom using photographic references or drawings, but painting directly from memory and imagination. Every painting is a journey and she is always amazed by what develops.
