Mary Benson

Mary Benson, a Charlotte-based artist, draws inspiration from the lush landscapes and verdant gardens of North Carolina. After majoring in graphic communications with a minor in art at Clemson University, she initially pursued a career as a graphic designer before following her heart into the world of oil painting.

Mary Benson's artistic journey reflects a deep connection to nature, highlighting the idea that we can find peace and grounding within the broader canvas of God’s creation. This notion of interconnectedness infuses her work with a harmonious unity, inviting viewers to appreciate the shared beauty that binds us all.  

Participating in shows across the Carolinas, her paintings have found homes around the country, while prints of her work reach audiences around the world.
