Redefining the Art of Mixed Media & Collage

The beauty of mixed media, which remains Raven Skye’s primary area of focus, is in consistent evolution. Her body of work resembles this exploratory nature and makes for quite the experience for any passing viewer.  

Her more contemporary work involves further experimentation with her own photography, papers, acrylic paint, mono printing, and extending the image off the canvas.  Her techniques set her apart from many other collage artists.  “My version of collage is not traditional and no other artists, that I can find, use all patterned papers in their collage work to create art as I do. Some are close, but they use paint,  magazine papers and the papers are a solid color, where mine are always patterned.
