Abby Pinkard

Abby Pinkard is a local artist living in Lynchburg, VA. She has a BA in studio art with a Masters in contemporary art. Her paintings reflect a sensibility that is both elevated and whimsical. She applies bold brushstrokes and playful mark-making to create an aesthetic that encompasses realism, abstraction, and expressionism. Texture and color are the love language of Abby's paintings while she aims to create work that please the eye and evoke an emotional response.
